On the face of it, it's a good thing that #Sting, Fry, et al. are threatening to resign from the #GarrickClub unless members vote to admit women. They say the scandal is jeopardizing their relations with female colleagues.
But if you ask me, joining a men’s-only club is an inherently misogynistic act. So the real question is, if these Important Artists were so worried about their relationships with women, why would they join Garrick in the first place?

I wasn't familiar with their stuff prior to AEW and this gimmick, coupled with the “Cutler as Meltzer” gimmick, is hitting all the right notes for me. I know it's very early into things, but still, to long-time fans of Matthew and Nicholas: is this their best work? If not, what is?...
