Here's my concepts for the Fer De Lance for Elite Dangerous.
I did the first one pre Kickstarter launch trying to get a sense of how a super fast yacht might look in space.
Later I was given the Zorgon Petterson ship line to pitch the visuals for. I mixed 50s bombers and Nasa X planes to come up with something that I felt could both contrast the other shipyards and hold it's own aesthetically.
Cargo ships like this were unique handmade pieces and rear sights. Made of recycling scrap yards cheap spare parts, they were not safe or reliable but allowed their owners to make a living.
