It is actually a right to access responsibly. But what the hell, it will always be used as a stick to beat Scotland by most of the MSM.
I am however very very amused. This must be the first vaguely positive article the Guardian has published about Scotland. Have they got the right country? Or was their ;Scottish Correspondent' on hols?
That's what you get by voting tories in. We have done a fair amount in mitigation in Scotland, but Westminster and the England dominance of the ‘voluntary’ union continues to hold us back. The removal and squandering of Scottish/UK resources for ideological reasons did not help either.
Dis this mean thit ther will be two Tory erections staunin in Scotland oan July 4th noo ?
Ah know they canny git candidates but hus the Treasonous Dribblers linesman contract bin cancelled?
Mr Dribbling announced "I am happy to receive this award 'Again' and I will be standing for a seat in the English parliament 'Again' for nothing more than substantial personal cash gain reasons 'Again'!
I can’t believe that people in Scotland think the Labour Party will fix the problems by turning on the spending taps. They better think again.
The IFS has said a ''black cloud'' is hanging over UK finances, and they acknowledged either more tax rises or cuts to public services could lie ahead.. AUSTERITY ON STEROIDS IS COMING You have been warned! #scottishindependence#youyesyet
Ross, though, was the evening’s greatest loser. Swinney and Sarwar each stuffed the Tory leader into a woodchipper, offering Ross an impossible choice: defend Boris Johnson and Liz Truss and risk looking a fool or disavow their records and appear weak, directionless, and of use to neither man nor beast.
If "sir" #starmer wants to build 4 new #nukesubmarines in Barrow, he should arrange to have the completed vessels to have a permanent base in Barrow or in the Thames...
@alexlac51 As I understand it, Barrow doesn't have deep enough water for a fully equipped nuclear weapons sub. They're floated out of there 'light', and have heavy equipment (including missiles) loaded up when they reach Faslane. The Thames obviously doesn't.
The only places in England which do have deep enough water are in Devon and Cornwall, but, unfortunately, English people live there, so of course they're not suitable sites either.
