Esta saga se cimentó sobre una base y una comunidad muy de nicho, donde ambas partes han sido traicionadas.
Explico el legado y la historia de Saints Row además de dar una pequeña opinión sobre cómo me ha parecido del Reboot siendo un fan desde el primer juego.
Creo que quitando la mala historia y el humor estúpido que intenta criticar malamente el capitalismo moderno, haciendo una caricatura de mal gusto, como si fuese sacada de Twitter sobre mi generación que me ha llegado a enfadar.
Finalmente, creo que a pesar de los fallos que ha tenido el juego en cómo se ha llevado la historia, han arreglado muchos bugs acabando siendo el juego más jugable de la saga. Destacando en la parte de las actividades, personalización y hacer el cabra que tiene la saga. No ha sido un buen juego pero tampoco un mal juego. Link de la reseña:

Well in Saints Row IV, they return to this funny gag and do Paula Abdul Feat. MC Skat Cat "Opposites Attract". It then switches songs to Biz Markie "Just A Freind" where the enemy comes in and ruins it in a hilarious way.
I went with Laura Bailey's voice for the MC, because she's the one I always used.

Saints Row IV opening mission ends with the player character stopping a rocket with Aerosmith "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" while the rest of the cast leave messages thinking the player might die in sacrifice. Clip from that scene.
J'ai vu des réacs chouiner sur #SaintsRow (Le reboot de 2022), j'ai vu que @canardpc en avait fait un test plutôt sympa, du coup je viens de me l'acheter.
J'avais bien accroché au 3, j'ai jamais pu finir le 4 qui part vraiment trop en couilles malgré une intro super intéressante, pour l'instant ça me plaît bien (Mais je commence tout juste).

Heute ist es auch nicht abgestürzt, aber lustige Bugs hatten wir.
Ein Boss ist einfach durch die Gegend gelaufen, hat nichts gemacht und wir konnten ihn nichts anhaben. Dann war er auf einmal weg und die Mission war abgeschlossen 🤣

Not beaten properly due to crashes but the game itself is what Saints Row should be. It's a damn shame it keeps crashing after about 15 minutes of play.
I'm not one for "New Year's resolutions", but I am one for overly ambitious projects.

Given that I have 634 unplayed games in my Steam account and {mumble} unredeemed bundle Steam keys, there's a reason my unplayed collection is tagged "Pile of Shame".
I'll pin this to my profile, and give a brief summary here each day (or x, if I miss x days due to work or stuff).
I'll play 15-30 minutes of (at least) one new game I've never played before (or played less than 15 minutes of). I'll give every game at least 15 minutes, even if I hate every minute of it.
I'm also open to suggestions; if you reply to this thread with a game, I'll schedule it, or tell you what I thought of it.
One of the things that's come up is that I have a bunch of games that I've played once, and not touched again.

I appear to have possibly broken my "no sequels" rule, because it appears that this is a sequel to Saints Row IV. (Checked before posting, and it's actually a standalone expansion).
I realised this too late, and so this is, unfortunately, my NewPlay for the 16th.
If you've played Saints Row IV, this is basically Saints Row IV in hell. Not in a "this is terrible" way, but literally the Saints Row version of hell.
It too is a third person action-adventure game, in which you play one of the characters from SR:IV, trying to rescue your boss from Lucifer, where he(!) is being married off to Satan's daughter Jezebel Morningstar, because he's so chaotic, that the devil decided he was perfect husband material.
I think my head is going to explode from writing that sentence. If you enjoyed SR:IV, you might enjoy this, if not, well... you probably won't.

Saints Row (2022) was a poorly received reboot of the Saints Row franchise. It's a third-person action-adventure RPG, that is, this time around, based around the founding of a criminal gang named "The Saints".
You play as "The Boss", and can choose from a set of pre-made characters, or build your own from scratch, so I lost track of how long I spent in the character creator.
In this case, I didn't go into the game completely unawares; I've played some of Saints Row IV, which was cartoonishly over the top.
I remember reading reviews of Saints Row saying that they wanted it to be more grounded, and to paraphrase Inigo Montoya, "...that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Maybe it's not quite as OTT as the last game, but grounded is not a word I'd use either.
I'm a little surprised at this point that the reviews were so awful, as it definitely feels a lot like the previous Saints Row games to me.
I'll probably slot in some further Saints mayhem between RPG sessions in the new year.

I can't say I'm too surprised. It's been about a decade since they made a hit game, and that's just too long.
