The International Committee of the Red Cross has said it is concerned by images of semi-naked Palestinian men being paraded by the Israeli military in Gaza, adding that all of those detained must be treated in keeping with international humanitarian law.
"Families of #Israelis being held #hostage by #Hamas were reprimanded by representatives of the #RedCross in a meeting earlier this week, with the Red Cross telling one family they need to "think about the #Palestinian side," KAN reported on Thursday night."
The Red Cross continuing its long tradition of failing Jews
“Tali Amano says that her mother, Elma Avraham, didn’t receive any of her vital medications while in captivity, even after her son brought them to representatives of the aid group”
“They abandoned my mother from a health perspective,” added Amano. “My mother didn’t have to return like this. It was neglect during her entire period there. She didn’t receive her lifesaving medications. She was abandoned twice, once on October 7 and a second time by all the organizations that should have saved her and prevented her condition.”
The Red Cross has a long history of turning its back on Jewish suffering.
“Despite numerous social media posts on Palestinians suffering from the war with Hamas, the Red Cross failed to make a single mention of Israeli civilians suffering on October 7 or thereafter.”

The most pain-free part of this #drone mapping was when @OpenDroneMap crunched through the 462 images in 45 min on the fast #orthophoto setting (using 2.3GHz quad-core i7, 16GB RAM). The $57 installer (not required, but easier and the purchase supports the #OpenSource developers) made it a breeze to get Philippine #RedCross set up on their Windows laptop.
All, I have a track on this release which I failed to tell you about before now. Apologies.
The release is obviously about the war in and around Gaza. It’s set to name-your-price, which would have proceeds going to the well-deserving ‘lessthanone’ label, but there is also a link near the bottom for you to donate directly to the Red Cross, which is the real point of the exercise.
My song is a melancholic, meditative piece and is the first track in the collection. I’d say those terms could be used to describe the release as a whole, as well.
#CAIRO — After a long journey from #Gaza, more than 100 American citizens and their families have entered #Egypt through the #RafahCrossing. Jonathan Webster, the #USEmbassy in Cairo's consul general, said some of those families are telling him they ran out of food and water during their journeys. #Israel
On Wednesday night, before the extension was announced, 10 #Israelis and four #Thais had been handed over to the #RedCross in #Gaza. The group included dual citizens with #US, #German and German nationality, Qatar said. The IDF said two hostages with Russian citizenship had crossed into #Egypt. Thirty Palestinian prisoners were later freed, including well-known activist #AhedTamimi.
