It extends down to some ridges crested with rocks. Past those is a wide, flat valley and then another line of mountains. Wide flat valley continues on the far side of the mountain line until another line of mountains defines the visible horizon. South to the even further south parts of the Egan Range from the top of Shingle Peak in the Far South Egans Wilderness, Nevada Mountains, each shorter than the last as they go further away, stack up against each other. The nearest, tallest, shows limestone cliffs among green of pinon and juniper.
