I had a fun lunch with @andypiper today and spent a few hours nerding out about open protocols and the fediverse. He brought this 3D printed version of the Mastodon mascot.
Was kann ich tun, wenn mein Drucker (#Prusa MK3S+) von jetzt auf gleich große Probleme mit dem gleichmäßigen Transport von Filament entwickelt?
Habe bereits Filamente und Düsen getauscht, es mit PLA-Kaltzug probiert, die Düse ohne #Filament mal auf 280°C gebracht und mit der beiliegenden Nadel nach Verstopfungen geschaut. Es ist besser geworden, aber immer noch ziemlich unbrauchbar :(
I recently assembled a #prusa 3D printer and thought it would be fun to print the #bevy#gamedev logo! I think it turned out fantastic, using galaxy black and pearl white PLA filament.
I left my #Prusa 3D printer unattended for a couple of hours, and it completely screwed up and the extruder got completely encapsulated in a 1cm thick glob of PLA filament. This is what it looked like after half an hour of delicate unglobbing. Another half hour of cleaning and reassembling and it was working fine again. Not sure what went wrong - PETG builds are nearly always perfect, but I'm building something that should be a little more flexible, hence the PLA.
Also printing up #nla#vw#t3#vanagon coolant pipe retaining clips - due to the shape the #prusa printer needs a lot of scaffolding but when it’s peeled off they look ok - it’s an experiment to see how durable they might be but they look ok so far …
Ok So I'm building a #Prusa Mk4 3d printer. The gummy bears were a nice touch but the whole kit is amazing. The instructions are top notch too. Maybe I haven't done this a lot (I haven't) but docs like these take an incredible amount of work. Hats off to them.
Anyone else's #prusa#3dprinter go into thermal runaway if the room gets too cold? My one starts emitting alarm tones with all fans flat out if the room gets down to 10°

Ich freue mich gerne über so kleine Dinge … 1.000 Downloads ist nicht viel. Aber dafür, dass ich den Foo eigentlich nur für mich gemacht habe, ist es dann doch erstaunlich.
