"Holywood and Belfast Lough" Today's early #painting is from the northeast of #Ireland. It was painted in County Down after #cycling from Antrim through the centre of Belfast city and out along the southern shore of the lough to Helen's Bay. #Art #MastoArt#MAstoDaoine#Artist

My painting is now finished. I enjoyed sharing some work in progress pics yesterday. The inspiration for this watercolor comes from a wonderful photographer on twitter. Love seeing the daily owl photos.
Caribbean Ocean, watercolor. I'm a beach girl at heart. Since I can't travel to the beach frequently I paint it often. One of my favorite aspects of this kind of painting is trying to capture the interplay of light on water.
Ok starting a new art thread for 2023! Here's the deal: a mostly daily thread with a different artist every day (sometimes I repeat from previous years if I feel like featuring other work/projects), primarily modern and contemporary since that's my thing. I'm even making a hashtag for it in case that makes it easier for folks to follow. Enjoy! #art#BigArtThread
Paintings by German illustrator and stage painter Quint Buchholz, 1990s-2010s, who employs a Pointillist technique in his playfully surreal images. #art#painting#ContemporaryArt#BigArtThread
