Walking through & wetland marshes are to the right. Small to stroll. Still some purple out.

En route home & will be uploading more photos, shortly. We had the whole park to ourselves - only wildlife sharing spaces today 😊

Back in our gardens.

#SoapBush - #Ceanothus - Great for #PollinatorGarden.

It's proven to be #DroughtResistant, once established. One of very few #plants proven to be resistant to air pollution too. I highly recommend this for #ClimateAction #gardening. It's a gorgeous plant too.

First 2024 #apples are growing well. No tent caterpillars problem, yet. We check fruit trees daily. I don't know what kind of apples these are because I'm not knowledgeable about apple types & this tree was here when we bought property a long time ago. They are reddish green when mature & are very large in size - about double the size of an average granny smith.

Cluster of immature apples. Green with reddish tints.

aka is a of beetroot & Swiss chard.

Large that needs full sun & no shade. As it's namesake, tolerant of high sodium soil & wind resistant - it depends on winds to pollinate hermaphroditic flowers. I recommend this easy to grow , for coastal food gardens.

- I grow them in a separate contained area. I grow false St John's Wort in a different contained area.

The true St John's Wort is a longtime . As with all , that originate from the wilds, please learn more about each plant & how to properly use it, first. If harvesting in the wild - be responsible with picking.

Close up of St John's Wort flower buds. Raindrops are on foliage.
