So, my first few hours of #NoMansSky has been spent confused and bumbling about a hostile alien planet. I guess I’ve a few hundred hours of this in front of me, no?
🚀 I made it just in time and got my first S-Class ship! - Also my first real starship after the starter shipwreck. Just finished the Cartographer Redux event in No Man's Sky and really enjoyed it 🤩
The expedition was like a long and rewarding tutorial mission, I have learned a lot. I tried the game a few years ago but bounced off for some reason. Gave it another try and now I can't stop exploring. Such a beautiful game.
Talking to different races while playing No Man's Sky yesterday.
They had some nice suits for sure.
Been learning more about NMS and I guess I've not even explored like 5% of the options! It's huge! And I'm glad I have a sweet guide to help me learn and grow. 😊 Hopefully we'll have loads more coop hours 😇
Have a lovely day everyone! Hopefully some more NMS for me today as well... :dualshock_2:
Getting geared up in #NoMansSky to defeat some sentinels... 😊
Having loads of fun with my friend in the game. They have been slowly teaching me the ins and outs. Still much to learn, and I lean much to learn!! But with my dear guide I'm pretty sure I can learn if I am given enough time 😇
Of course I played some more NMS yesterday. Some solo, which was a bit scary when I made a jump as I'm a terrible flyer and I am even worse in space fights. But no pirates and I got to three planets on my own. But they weren't too kind to me, weather wise. And some had many sentinels.
May play some more this morning, depending on my blog progress. Need to fix one post to get it to 90% before tomorrow... Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 I can also game a bit. 😊
Worked in gathering some more bits and... Got the ship repaired. Now, I need fancy upgrades (and I'd like it to have a different color but I guess that's very expensive as well 🤔).
But... I present to you the "Arwenator".
Because of Light No Fire having rideable birds and being very much my thing, and it being from the #NoMansSky devs (who really understand how to do primarily cooperative online), I'm once again thinking about No Man's Sky and
seriously if you never did the Expeditions? They're 100% the right way to experience the game now. Taking the game and necking it down to a bunch of specific but wildly divergent goals that sorta, tell a mechanical narrative, and giving you a bunch of resources if necessary to smooth out the rough spots you'd normally hit doing those, is just such a clever thing.
Really dig the community aspect too. Everyone has a good reason to build a bunch of purpose-specific bases to help everyone else along with the objectives, which gives you a new reason to go HAM and build some cool new base themed around (whatever it is), just- the whole thing is super rad. Fucking fantastic sense of community in those.
Played a little more solo No. Man's Sky and tried to repair some bits on the ship we found a while ago. It needs many repairs for sure...
And I tried to upgrade the gun, but I don't have a clue if I did right haha. Just trying out things 😊.
Traded the toxic hellhole for a frozen hellhole. But it's the safest of the planets nearby, so guess I'll stick around here until I can travel farther.
Playing (finally) #NoMansSky and after about 50 hours of noodling around, making bases and generally having a fun sandboxy time, I've started following the main plot.
I guess I should have done that sooner. I am receiving many techs that I have previously unlocked by grind-mining buried technology modules. I'm also somewhat OP for all the missions.
Unlocking freighter tech is a slow business though. Meh.
SNEAKY SATURDAY STREAM!!! I got a freighter! I'm going to continue with the Artemis storyline in order to reset the simulation and head to a new galaxy now. https://video.surazal.net/w/bxUGqJUZyHTXsvHq1Z7dD3
Today we have our new base, but before I try to get my free freighter I want to buy a sweet Class A Fighter ship I've been eyeing in our home system. It's the Search For More Money!
