Alternatively, since our representatives and #politicians refuse to do anything to stop mass shootings, the run hide fight could also be applied to them...
I am not advocating for violence against any person (That's the #conservatives job) However, I feel if our government has the audacity to release a PSA telling you how to survive the #massshooting when they refuse to pass any #laws to stop mass shootings. While banning firearms from any political or #NRA events. It is well past the time to have our politicians live under the fear of the gun, just like my children have to.
On the face of it, it looks like the toxic influence of the #NRA but in the end from afar it does seem that surely the lack of politic will has deeper roots?
Whatever it is, the death toll from rampant #gunviolence continues to rise; elsewhere countries manage to stop this (indeed even some states - Massachusetts for instance - have reduced fatalities through some further regualtion)...
My American friends, elsewhere this is not normal!

l really hope the NRA and other 2nd Amendment NUTS are happy with what they have created. Actually, they didn't create this but they did everything in their power to pervert the society so there is no place safe for anyone to do anything.

I don't know much about this story but I'm my experience of US police forces and police unions if a police chief is voted out by unions that is not necessarily a good thing.
From everything I've heard putting police unions in charge of selecting a chief, directly or indirectly, is like putting the NRA in charge of gun safety. Both talk the talk but just don't walk the talk.
