This past weekend, we stopped at a tiny arcade at the hotel I stayed at with the family. They have one of the two greatest arcade games of all time - Ms. Pac-Man and Mortal Kombat II.
Don't argue with me...that's totally a fact.
Regardless, as the main screens cycled through I took this picture. There was a screen that showed up with details on how to order the soundtrack as well as two different Mortal Kombat comic books back when this dropped in 1993.
I wonder...do you think that's still valid? And if not, do you think there's folks out there who still have copies of these comics / the CD? Cause...I kind of want them.
Also, who stood around in an arcade in 1993 with a pen and paper to write down all this information? Cause I want to meet those people too...
doing some #maintenance on my #Arcade#Cabinet before moving it into my #TinyHouse. I've been working on this arcade cabinet for over 20 years now, I got it when I was 13 years old from a warehouse where it was rotting away for $25. It was originally a #Wonderboy cabinet from #Sega. I have full #JAMMA wiring inside and it runs real boards, but there is also a modern #PC inside for #Steam releases like #MortalKombat. The #Marquee animates, which is my favorite part!

Hi! I’m daniel, aka dpadular, and I’m here to post about video games with y’all.
I’ve been playing since the original NES days, but really fell in love with video games when I first encountered the original #mortalkombat in the arcade.
I’m a bit of a generalist, and my recent games have been #portal2, #doom2016, #thestickoftruth, and replaying #myst and #riven for the first time in 20 years. I’m currently working my way through #prey2017 for the first time and really digging it
It’s finally here, my Mortal Kombat 1 Blind Accessibility Review! I’m really proud of this video and even more proud of the work that was done to make this the most accessible Mortal Kombat game yet. Check it out here!
The new MOrtal Kombat 1 is definitely a high point for the franchise. I personally like the game and I'm usually just not a fan of Mortal Kombat in general, especially when I feel that there are better fighting game franchises out there like StreetFighter and the Marvel Vs. Capcom series of fighters. I'd put this in A-tear for sure but the PS2 MK games will always be in god-tear. If you disagree, fine but come up with actual reasons instead of fighting me. #Gaming, #MortalKombat, #VideoGames, #FightingGames.
yesterday's #MortalKombat#stream definitely cemented my resolve to revive my #Twitch channel and get back on the horse. I've been out of touch for a bit but I'd like to get back to it. I play #games, comment on their #accessibility primarily for the #blind, as I myself play entirely without vision, by necessity, not by choice. Numbers going up = secondary, having a good time & educating = first. Chat is always a safe space. https://twitch.tv/zersiax#shareYourGames#twitchChannel
Me estoy gozando las capturas y vídeos de #mortalkombat en #NintendoSwitch.
Qué delícia, por favor. Me está recordando a los ports de #CallOfDuty a PS3, pero con expresividad tan top! 👌
