I’m thrilled to finally be able to share that I have been admitted to the Apple Developer Academy program for 24/25 in Naples, Italy! 🎉 This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I couldn’t be more excited to take this next step in my journey.
I still can’t believe that I’m one of the 220 out of many other people who tried, that actually made it. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. 🚀
What a craven fucking coward. The effort is to shift responsibility so he won’t take hits from the right in an election year.
“The #Biden administration is planning to refer some migrants in Latin America for resettlement in #Greece and #Italy as part of another effort to discourage people in the region from traveling to the U.S.-Mexico border, two people familiar with the government's plans told CBS #News.” #immigration#bidenharris2024
My Italian lesson today: "gomma a terra" - a flat tire. But, as frequently happens in small town #Italy, all turned out fine. We were headed out to dinner last night when our car informed us that we had a tire emergency. We drove the rest of the 800m to the restaurant to figure out what to do over wine and pizza. The proprietor was happy to let us leave the car in the parking lot, because we decided it was a tomorrow problem and had a nice walk home on a pleasant spring evening. 1/3
Italy’s Po Delta is a nature-rich UNESCO reserve. Now it is at risk from offshore drilling.
The Po Delta covers an area of around 500 km2 in northeast Italy. Located around an hour south of Venice, the wetlands veined with rivers are some of the largest and richest in the Mediterranean. #ClimateChange#Italy

#Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia #Meloni reiterated Sunday her opposition to the use of weapons supplied to #Ukraine on #Russia soil, after the #NATO chief reportedly suggested letting #Kyiv strike targets beyond its border.
"I don't know why #Stoltenberg said such a thing, I think we have to be very careful," Meloni told Italian television, while adding that "I agree that NATO must remain firm, not give the signal that it is giving in."
