Went #TrailRunning last evening at #sunset on one of my favorite local #trails (yes, the days are getting shorter!). As I entered the last meadow, I was greeted by this beautiful eerie scene— a misty #fog blanketing the ground as the sun was showing the last of its light with an orange glow over the horizon. Waiting for the Call

I remember that on this occasion I was sitting in the car in a Tim Horton's parking lot near Halifax airport, waiting for @stevenkennard to text to tell me he had landed and I could go to pick him up. It was raining and misty and rather eerie with the light coming from these two phone booths. The call did come.

Pt Cabrillo Light Station

On a recent visit to the North Coast of California and the beautiful Mendocino coastline my wife and I decided to check out the Pt. Cabrillo Light Station.
The trail down to the lighthouse is roughly a 1 mile walk. By the time we made it to the lighthouse the sun made an attempt to cut through the fog.
