I'm looking for help to move locally this weekend (Saturday/Sunday) in #DurhamNC. I'm financially okay, but it's been a rough month for me and my loved ones and many of the folks who would normally help me move are sick this week (or, like me, permanently disabled).
It isn't a lot of stuff, one bedroom and a closet full of gardening equipment. I'm moving it into a storage unit across the street.

Check me out holding a sign at 0:40! I was smiling my face off because we were getting so much support from passers-by. It felt amazing to be out there standing up for the many many people who are appalled at the violence and our government's continued funding of it.

I'm here at Representative #ValerieFoushee's office in #DurhamNC with more than 30 other moms/constituents and our children (many of whom are Jewish like me) to call for her to sign on to support #ceasefire now along with humanitarian aid for #Palestinians and a stop to US funding of the #Israeli war machine.
More pharmacy hijinks: Finally got the HRT, but every Walgreens in a 50 mile radius is out of syringes and has been for a week.
I guess I need to order syringes then. Any #transMasc folk have suggestions what to order off of Amazon? (or local #DurhamNC suggestions for LGBTQ friendly pharmacies?)

I had the opportunity to assist in running a huge #MagicTheGathering tournament in #DurhamNC over the weekend.
I didn't know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of freeing and open!
Most of the people I talked to were nice and wonderful.
As I was working with @extraliferdu collecting donations, so many people were donating to support the cause and a few donated their winnings to help sick and injured kids in the community!
Also, the #LGBTQIAPlus representation was amazing! It felt like the safest place to be given this is North Carolina!

Murray is the patron saint of #DurhamNC , where I lived for 15 years. Sweet memories of singing in the choir for their feast day service & fellowship bbq with the excellent folks at St Titus parish.
Every female in the world owes Murray endless thanks. They moved #Feminism forward in a way that even these fascists will have a tough time undoing. #Episcopalian#gratitude#BlackMastodon
The Rev. Dr. Anna Pauline “Pauli” Murray lived one of the most remarkable lives of the 20th century. Their legal arguments & interpretation of the U.S. Constitution were winning strategies for desegregation, women’s rights, & LGBTQ+ rights based on Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Their personal exploration of gender identity & their struggle for gender-affirming medical care was ahead of their time.
