Eine Abkühlung ist immer wieder gut.
Dazu noch der herrliche Waldgeruch und das Zwitschern der Vögel.
Vespern und Kamera auspacken fällt hier besonders leicht ☺️
Gulph Creek, PA
A tributary of the Schuylkill River
Checking some creeks before picking up my son at a soccer camp 😊
This stream runs through suburban woodland. I am sure this had trout a long time ago before development 🤔
The water is too warm to support trout, but looks beautiful, worth spending time walking along the creek while fly fishing – I need to find an area with public access 😉
#SilentSunday Stopped by at a #creek (during off season) on the way from Lengpui Airport to #Aizawl city. You need permission to go down here as locals from Lengpui town catch fish, crabs, and prawns during the monsoon season and are quite ‘possessive’ about it. Notice the two plastic water bottles possibly left by some kids who must’ve used it for ‘spotting’ - a term used for a location (spot) to have beer/whiskey, smoke weed, and ‘chill’ (as they say).
@slothrop
Although it is rare that I see kayaking on creeks I usually fly fish, I get geese, ducks, beavers, etc - they all share the creek with me. They often appear and ruin my favorite spots 😅 So, I think it is natural to have conflicts between fly fishing and kayaking - we share the creek 😊
One thing that they could avoid is to talk loudly because I think many fly anglers are enjoying the quiet time, although geese can be very noisy 😉
