Heute ging es wieder ans Wasser. Gute Gelegenheit, meine neue #Nikon auszuführen.. Es hat alles so geklebt 🙄
Die Ansichten belohnen einen immer wieder dafür 😍
Spending some quality time in the Harrisburg area 😊
This river is huge - it is the longest river in the US East Coast. I saw a lot of fish rising, but I didn’t fish. I just enjoyed the view of this great river 😉
A freight train is slowly crossing the river over the Rockville Bridge 😊
Ein kleiner, moosiger Dschungel..
Da braucht es gar nicht weit weg von zu Hause für 😍
Von der Erfrischung des kalten Wassers an den Füßen ganz zu schweigen.
Walking with a friend this morning, I encountered this grey heron once again. She was sitting on a fallen limb in the creek, not standing on the curved trunk hanging over the water as usual, quietly enjoying the cool greenery all round. #nature#heron#creek
This is sad - this creek is beautiful, has colder water compared to the neighboring creeks, and used to have wild trout. But this is now basically a put and take fishery. Stocked trout may also been exposed to a lot of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers 😞
But I still like fishing and walking along this creek 😊
This pool is a locally popular spot for fishing, swimming, and picnicking. The fallen tree served as a support for a tire swing and a rope for jumping into the pool 😊
The recent heavy rain caused some changes in the creek landscape, including this bank erosion, causing the tree to fall into water. Yesterday, I was standing at the bank about 300 meters upstream of this pool - the bank collapsed and I got into water 😅
