Picked up this Haifusheng Pork Rib & Mushroom Instant Congee from my local Asian Grocery Store and it FUCKING SLAPPED.

This was my first time eating congee and I really have been missing out! I will definitely be having it for breakfast a lot more!

We had Vietnamese style bun rieu ; crab/seafood tomato soup. Mom used some frozen soft shell crabs, this time, because we don't have any dungeness right now.

Tonight's #dinner was supposed to be pininyahang manok, then I remembered I removed the can of pineapple chunks from my cart when I ordered groceries online the other day. So then it was supposed to be adobo, but I didn't have enough red cane vinegar. The next best option: chicken pares.

Stir fried some cabbage for some greens on the side.
