Where it gets REALLY creepy is how much or little disclosure/vetting was done in his campaigns for Representative in 2016, 2018, 2020 — AND in his election as Speaker. Did the GOP MOCs know how deeply weird he is?
Americans have the right to know whom they’re voting for, and who is being selected to be Speaker & second in line for the presidency.
Maybe these private devotional practices are the norm for his LA District, but his young-Earth/anti-science beliefs sure as shit do not reflect the majority of Americans nor are they compatible with trying to save the planet’s biome in this time of #ClimateCrisis.

@unfa Celebrities do this all the time. I thought we generally agreed people could represent themselves in the way that they feel most comfortable at this point? I'm not sure why you'd feel mislead, since I'm not sure how somebody's appearance impacts you.
@unfa in some services I still have a profile pic from 15 years ago because I never bothered to swap it out. In that case it's just my lazyness, but I think this happens a lot.
