Doom is just the shareware version, just like most of the others (some already called with that fancy modern name "demo"). Some are freeware, some have been released into public domain after they went out of sale.

It wants a code for level selection. You get the code for level 2 once you finish level 1, and so on. So just start with level 1 (F1).

If you check it out, don't forget to have a look atthe somewhat hidden 3D mode. Though well made, the 2D mode is just a Google-Maps-like view, and the 3D mode is entirely different.

Ah yes, RimWorld, the famous automation game...

Mostly because they have to wait for Half-Life 3 in order not to confuse the customers.

Pro: This looks exactly like the original Dungeon Keeper that I loved. Contra: This looks exactly like a game from the 90s.

Cities Skylines II Releases To Mostly Negative Reviews About Performance

I Downloaded it myself and have about 5-10fps in the main menu on a RTX3090 64GB , 3950X. Most of the reviews say the same. Colossal Order are suggesting you should play on very low detail. I was a massive fan of the original having played Sim City since 1993 but I cant even get into this. It shouldnt have been released so...

The preview builds for reviewers and streamers had serious performance issues, then they warned the public about serious performance issues, and then the release version has serious performance issues. Yes, sounds like they just forgot to press some switch and the fix that once and forever solves all performance issues is scheduled to arrive today.

Colossal Order was a company of 13 people when Cities Skylines was released. It's not like there is an out of touch CEO somewhere above 7 levels of management who has no clue what's going on with the people actually developing the game.

As rikudou said, in the context of "The dev of X never anticipated this success and it being a long-term project even after release", the dev is the company. And for the company, the CEO is the one who has to have a plan about the success of their projects and the future commitment to old products.
And as I said, in such a small company the CEO is not someone crunching numbers, restructuring departments and having meetings with partners all over the world all day. They are pretty much one of the dev team.

I don't think it's the passport thing. The differences between European passports are minor, so in that matter you surely could accept all EU nationalities. If you really want the best ones, then Sweden, Finland, France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland are among the ones that bring you the farthest in the world, and those are not in the list, while Greece and Norway are less powerful passports, and the USA, Canada and Australia even less, and all of them are in the list.

Of course it could be one or multiple specific countries they want you to travel, but chances for that are low. Clearance sounds much more likely.

Well, Cities: Skylines 2 is here, and it's another broken game release.

I don’t really understand how people make the review threads, but we’re sitting at a 77 on OpenCritic right now. Many were worried about game performance after the recommended specs were released, but it looks like it’s even worse than we expected. It sounds like the game is mostly a solid release except for the...

Not having 60 fps might be an issue for a shooter or anything that is built on fast reactions, but it doesn't really sound like an issue in a city builder.

No. There are studies about that, see e.g. https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/misinformation-desk/202212/study-few-people-read-what-they-share for a more recent one. That's also why Facebook, Twitter & Co at various times implemented various features trying to push you reading the stuff you post.

I didn't read it, so I didn't share it initially, but this was the article I saw earlier:

Nobody (that I know of) shorted, but Riccitiello and several other Unity executives sold shares in the weeks before the announcement. For at least Riccitiello this was part of a longer effort of selling, though, as he sold many shares over the whole past year.

Not The Onion: a french group has been arrested 5 years ago and are currently being judged. A picture of macron with a dick drawn on it is cited as evidence of plotting a terrorism attack (www.laquadrature.net)

To be fair they were also using encrypted messaging to talk to each other like WhatsApp and Signal, they even show their mom how to use it which is extremely suspicious....

According to Wikipedia, they were arrested 3 years ago, not 5. Of the 9 people arrested, 2 were released after 3 days, the other 7 were charged, but only 1 of them was still kept detained after "a few months", and he was released for health reasons in April (though he still is charged).

Same for me. And the individual games have prices > 0.

EDIT: 15 minutes later, now it works.

Huh? That guide is pretty extensive in providing different options and ways, but it's not complicated at all. The whole thing is about 2500 words, that would be about 5 pages printed. That's probably much shorter than most Windows guides, and they are not typically offering so many options.

There's a pepper mill in the foreground, so the one in the background is likely black zalt.

And the prices of YouTube premium, too. It's not "about $4 per month" in the US.

Given that in the very same post he wrote "we need to go back, way back, into the mists of time, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and we started working on TF2", did you consider it could just be a joke?

Ziemlich lächerliche Sache, klar, aber doch eher News von vor über einem Jahr, oder?
