Final boss form. Got that cheap USB card installed and plugged into the front key-A cable for USB-C. Tested with a Samsung T5 SSD. Decent enough speed. Not even half of what Samsung claims is max but not sure I care. Cable did not want to go all the way so I pulled it out and secured it through the front. Installed a new support bracket for the GPU. Maybe not necessary but doesn't hurt for 1000 yen.

Wife doing bad. Orthopedic doctor said to go to a normal doctor, which I've been wanting her to do more seriously for a while. Wanted her to go today but she said it was too cold.

Symptoms still seem vaguely like a kidney (other organ?) problem or maybe an insulin resistance problem? Weird stuff happens after she eats. Hopefully she goes to a bigger clinic tomorrow.

Just in case I'm going to start feeding her low GI foods.

Figured out my silt problem. I didn't prepare the soil correctly. I was supposed to knead it until it turned into mud. All I did was mix in water.

So when I have time, maybe Thursday:

1. Evacuate the fish and snails.
2. Evacuate the plants.
3. Drain the water.
4. Let the soil dry one or two days.
5. Mix the soil up until it's the right consistency.
6. Put everything back.
