Instead of having two PHP/PHP-adjacent conferences in Texas in the same year, we're taking a year off, and throwing our weight behind @cascadia in Portland, Oregon.

That's right. The Pacific Northwest is getting a PHP conference for the first time since 2019!

My girlfriend and I went to Depeche Mode last night.
We realised the last concert we went to together was MC Hammer in 1991! 😂

It was a great night in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

I finally gave in. After 5 years on Linux I will go back to MacOS in 2024 (which I have been using in various degrees of professionalism since... 1991?).

Linux is all nice and dandy. But there are so many rough edges that hinder my productivity.

So I'll bite the bullet and compromise on openness and IMO questionable company decisions in favour of my own productivity and sanity.

My girlfriend loves jigsaw puzzles. She has so many that sometimes she no longer knows which one she already has when she wants to buy a new one.

I love developing; so in a few hours I created a website for her with my favourite Static Site Generator @11ty: https://mijnpuzzels.nl

It now contains 22 puzzles; I have quite a list to add. :-P

I constantly get notifications from Find My that my AirPods are following me. It is really annoying. Nothing helped fix it. So I live with it. 😡

Today I forgot them in my hotel and I did not get a notification. Nothing. 🤦🏻‍♂️
