Does anyone else here use #Tusky as their main mastodon accessing thing on their phone?

When I'm catching up on the overnight it seems to skip hours at a time which gets to be annoying.

I end up filling in the gaps on the default Mastodon app which I'm less keen on because of the jiggling "new post" marker that is constantly, and redundantly, at the top.

This isn't the kind of #lofi you get by using loads of plugins, it's the kind you get by not really knowing what you are doing.

I'm plodding through Nietzsche's Also Sprach Zarathustra in one or two page chunks at bedtime and I'm honestly not getting the sense he was a great writer.

The way it reads I can see how people could tie him in with Ayn Rand and Hitler, and I'm wondering if the writers I've read who have good things to say about his work have been filtering it through their own lenses to an extreme degree.

Maybe I should read Twilight of the Idols instead?

Or go back to RAW's Cosmic Trigger which is fun?

New tune! This one started off vaguely arabic-sounding so I called it Souk, but as it progressed it started to remind me of the Netflix show Krakow Monsters as well so I added the A to make it a bit eastern european (I play counter-strike).

Souka also turns out to mean "I see" in Japanese.

Krakow Monsters is brilliant by the way.

A couple of years ago I went to Amsterdam and when I came back my sound recorder had on it some volca modular snippets I was never going to use and about two hours worth of accidental in-flight and airport noises that most people would just delete.

I realised I was comparing them to Harry Sword's Monolithic Undertow which stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Whenever I finally corral a tune to completion and get it on to SoundCloud I always think it will unleash a torrent of creative energy and that I will spend the next few days finishing a bunch of the other tunes I have lined up but what actually happens is I fall into a lethargy hole and flop around like an exhausted fish on the deck of a trawler, starting more things, but unable to finish them.
