RFF recently assisted in our own small ways, the creative community outreach of FediVision.
It was heartening to see so many artists put themselves out there and even more friends realise how much amazing indie art is right next door, accessible and keen to share, chat and collab.
We invite you to keep fomenting that cycle of discovery and support. Building durable connections for art and comradery.
We have seen recipriocal boosts for artist voices and community friends alike. Powerful!
If you reckon that is too heavy and would prefer everyone just shut up and push play, I urge you to spend a few moments on the channels, follow some artists to not just see the lovely vibes of an uncompetitive organic community but to be inspired to amplify them!
If you haven't had the chance to interact with a friendly independent artist you are missing out on not just making their day/week/more, but also more often than not getting love and appreciation in return.
We hope you had a chance to enjoy some of the light hearted overwhelmingly warm and supportive artist and friendly fedizen sharing and discourse for this years FediVision.
In line with the event organisers and their schedule, RFF will keep the pop-up channel running for the next week.
Everyone who submitted a track and moreso everyone who shared some feedback and fun around music, art and community are winners! Still, keep an eye out for @vote to countdown the "top 10" vote receiving tracks.
To kickoff the voting period we'll have chat on for a bit as we are simulcasting our pop-up to the video/chat channel. The community will announce more hangouts fo the week.
Keep it eclectic on the main channel, cozy on comfy, or book a date with a specialty block of a theme or genre you want to explore. Keep discovering, and keep dropping kind words and support to indie artists!
We have used this for live performance streaming, discussions, video premiere parties, the new years fedi stream parade marathon and hopefully more you'd like to bring to the community!
If you have an idea for original programming live or recorded do DM. We have the venue and a global crew of rather friendly listeners if we're being honest 🥰
When no live Video event we simulcast our audio channels or other RFF adjacent things.
We are able to turn on chat at any time if you'd like to schedule a hosted chat hangout to a specific Specialty channel programming block or the comfy or main channels.
We can also host audio only live streams on our events side channel and bridge it to the video for chat.
Perform or host an event in our agency respecting indie venues and help grow durable creative community.
The community and our services continue to grow. Keeping the RFF tower broadcasting is a force multiplier for helping indie creatives promote their work and connect with support in we hope, a positive community setting for artists and listeners.

This is the only thread on this topic hopefully for a year. We are confident the community will keep the lights on and we can continue to foment more music, more art, more artist support, more comradery, more community.

Hopefully we can amplify a bit more and push our sustained to date further out so we don't have to ask again soon.

Hello friends. Our #comfy regulars may have noticed there has not been an acoustic live stream hangout with @SabiLewSounds lately. Unfortunately her and her mum for whom Sabi is sole caregiver lost their home and are week to week for temporary accommodation where possible.
Please check her links for the best and most immediate way to help.
In the meantime, the RFF video channel is all Sabi as a beacon for comfy collective care.
