Also by the way for anyone else who uses the #Tusky app on Android, is there a way for it to group notifications or am I cursed to just have like all my notifications show up one after the other when I wake up and turn my phone's wifi back on?

not a fan of how phone manufacturers have removed features like the headphone jack and microSD expansion from phones

also REALLY not a fan of people who defend removing those features, especially the anti-headphone jack types who go on and on about how 'the headphone jack is outdated' and all that nonsense.

my phone (moto g stylus 2021) has a 3.5mm headphone jack and guess what? having it doesn't mean i couldn't use bluetooth earbuds if i wanted to (i don't but i could)

but if it didn't have the headphone jack? i'd be unable to use wired ones unless i went and bought a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter

all it does it remove options from consumers

Not a big fan of this toy-based MP-44 redeco Takara's revealed.

Something about giving such a toon-accurate Prime head the toy-accurate yellow eyes feels off to me. I get that it comes with both the more angular and more rounded toon Prime heads, but I feel they should've included a toy-accurate head option - I mean the toy-based redeco of MP-36 Megatron came with a toy-based face option, so why not Prime as well?

Honestly even if #ThreadsApp wasn't owned by fucking Meta, I still wouldn't use it for one simple reason:

  • I absolutely refuse to even /consider/ using any platform that requires you to use their app.

I do the vast majority of my interneting on a laptop, if you don't have a website - I ain't remotely interested.

Why the heck is it legal for the serving size of something to be /half/ of what it comes packaged in?

Like I'm not talking like a bag of chips or whatever but when you have like individually wrapped cookies and the serving size is 1/2 a cookie.

right, i think it's time to change the temperature on the AC. i put to down to 75 because i was feeling warm earlier but i'm going to put it back to 78 now.

@heyfluxay my grandpa is always complaining that 78 degrees is too cold but like if i turn the AC off, it'll get to like 90 degrees in here in no time

This is such a first world problem, I know, but I hate how my house's concrete walls means the WiFi signal is really only at full strength in the living room.

It's especially annoying because sometimes when I'm relaxing in bed and reading articles on my phone, the signal will get so weak it'll just disconnect entirely.

@trixter Yeah I've thought about getting some so I don't have to be in the living room to be at full-strength with my internet.

But even then when I'm in my bedroom or whatever, I still get like 150 Mbps down so it's not like it's garbage unusable speeds it's still plenty fast, just not the 300 Mbps I usually get.
