This sounds like something an orange growers association might write.

Made bland potato soup yesterday. Just didn’t have much flavor. Reheated it, added a bunch of thyme, a couple dozen roasted garlic cloves and a few tablespoons of bacon fat, and now I have a winner.

Yes I cheated by adding the bacon fat.

So I read that Humane is trying to sell the company? What exactly are they selling? There doesn't appear to be any solid IP to sell with the exception of the design of the hardware which didn't sell well.

It’s amusing with the whole glue on pizza discussion - Google was built on determining what websites were most “trustworthy” by counting the number of references to it, and now theyre just going to switch to a method that doesnt care about any level of trust at all. Reddit dude that talks about Elmer’s glue on pizza is just as good as an experienced pizzaiolo.

I can’t quite justify the cost to put solar panels on my house yet, but I wonder about just doing a battery that could charge from the grid when costs are low, and I can draw from it during peak hours when costs are high. Is anyone else doing that?

Swift debugging driving me nuts. #helpMe

I have a multiline file that I’ve loaded into a string using String(contentsOfFile:encoding:)

I'm trying to split the string using “someString.components(separatedBy: "==========\n“)

But it... just doesn’t. I know that particular string does exist in the file multiple times.

If I change the separator to just a linefeed it does split the file into 1600 items just fine. So for some reason it's not finding the "==========\n“ ?

I'm stumped.

Brains are weird.

I haven’t carried a wallet in my back pocket for 5 years or so.

I got out of my car this morning and started walking and my brain noticed my back pocket was empty and was like “hey man you lost your wallet”
