Isto é provavelmente uma das piores coisas que já vi em termos de violação de privacidade e direitos digitais; diria mesmo, de direitos humanos. Quanto mais leio, mais chocado fico. Isto não é ilegal, como? Miúdos vigiados o dia todo, monitorizados por GPS e com câmara e microfone que podem ser activados à distância para escutar as suas conversas privadas (e as conversas de outrém). Já era mau o suficiente esta opção de reduzir a autonomia dos miúdos, sempre de cordão umbilical do telefone ligado aos pais-helicóptero, treinados para normalizar o capitalismo de vigilância...isto é abuso normalizado.

Topics is a response to pushback against Google’s proposed Federated Learning of Cohorts (FLoC), which we called "a terrible idea" because it gave Google even more control over advertising in its browser while not truly protecting user privacy. While there have been some changes to how this works since 2019, Topics is still tracking your internet use for Google’s behavioral advertising.

2 - A estrutura por trás é Microsoft Azure (mais arrepios);

The conclusion is based on work done by a team of 14 researchers in association with the University of California, Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy. The study looked at so-called REDD+ credits, which represent roughly a quarter of carbon offsets issued globally.

“Many of the researchers have been studying carbon-offset quality for many years, and even we were surprised,” Barbara Haya, director at the Berkeley Carbon Trading Project and the lead researcher behind the report, said in an interview. “We found problems under every stone we turned.”"
