It took a little longer, but I finally got the #Rust examples to compile for the #Sega #Dreamcast on my machine. However, it was a long way to setup the toolchain for it. Hopefully this can be improved a bit in the future. I guess I have to catch up the messages on the Discord server to see if there were some new features introduced during the last few days. #retro #development

Wooohooo... Finally you can use the Rust on the Dreamcast! I just read this message on the development Discord channel:

Heute war ich bei #AdventOfCode etwas spät dran. Egal... ging ja heute mal echt schnell. In den Top 100 kann man ja sowieso nicht mitspielen - da müsste ich ja direkt morgens um 6 Uhr anfangen 😃!

#Microsoft hat das #RTOS #ThreadX an die #Eclipse Foundation übergeben und es unter die #MIT Lizenz gestellt. Nicht schlecht. Das wäre ja fast an mir vorbei gegangen 🙂.

Gerade wieder ein #Retro Projekt abgeschlossen. #SuperCIC in ein #SNES eingebaut. Der Projektstapel, der sich seit Anfang des Sommers angesammelt hat, wird endlich kleiner 🙂! Jetzt muss ich nur noch den #GameGear mit dem Black Screen fixen. Die Kondensatoren tauschen war schon eine echte Sauerei 🤢.

The 2nd print of the #Nintendo #Gameboy #DMG01 stand (printed with 100mm/s) came out pretty well, too. Seems that the #PEI printing bed was a good investment. The left Gameboy was modified with a TFT display, the right one with the bivert mod. #3dprinting #Retro #retrogaming

#werbung - Wer mir schon länger folgt erinnert sich vielleicht, dass es 2021 einen Aprilscherz gab, bei dem ich meine Finger im Spiel hatte. Um genau zu sein, ging es um leckere Pizza Kebab Style Vegan.
Auch wenn das damals nur ein Gag war: ich hätte mir sehr gewünscht, dass es diese Pizza tatsächlich gibt. Die Kommentare unter dem Aprilscherz-Post zeigten: damit war ich nicht alleine.
Und was soll ich sagen? Haltet ab September die Augen im Supermarkt auf…
