10 years ago, I bought this FiiO X1 because someone busted into my car and stole my iPod Classic.

That iPod Classic had a lot of sentimental value to me. For an anniversary gift, my wife etched our names into it. I would have had it replaced with another iPod but the iPod Classic got discontinued.

Therefore I got this FiiO X1 because it looked like an iPod Classic but also could output lossless audio. Plus, I liked the silver look.

I still have my old memory card on there with my old playlists. It’s a snapshot of my life back then.

@atomicpoet my og xbox gives me similar feels. It plays random tracks off the hard drive on boot and it's all stuff i listened to in the early 2000s including a couple podcast episodes and tracks created by old friends

I legit cannot sleep because it's driving me insane

I've been looking at some software at work and the boss suddenly drops a links with the cves (vulnerabilities) it had and.... there was nothing abnormal. A few a year, most of them didn't even affect the edition we will go going for and they were taken care of pretty much before they even appeared on said cve site

I'm feeling like there's a massive misunderstanding about vulnerabilities, how this all works and that the sole presence of them means that it's "bad"

Is this normal for a programmer to not be aware of this?
