@_Davidsmith @ismh Back in the 2000s driving to work on Intersrate 8 near SDSU at sunset in San Diego, there was a rocket launch out of Vandenberg, the mesmerizing contrails flying off the rocket exhaust were growing across the horizon.

I almost rear-ended someone and stopped looking, and that’s when the demolition derby began. I dodged 3 accidents, 5 happened all around me in 1 minute, and people hit guard rails on exits.

Everyone was hypnotized by the spectacle in the sky.

fixing watches, pinball machines, chairs, engines, blacksmithing, woodworking, etc.

It is so awesome to see someone show their skill doing something I know a little about but will never master.

@hotdogsladies Oh, ZIF connectors suck - I’m glad you got it!☺️

Those connectors used to be EVERYWHERE inside Macs, slowly disappearing over time - but not yet.

Replacing the battery in my wife’s 2018 MacBook Air in march, I knocked one loose.

I used a (dollar store) 10x jewelers eyeloop to place the comb lever (did you know there is writing on that part!?) - as it goes in either way, but only levers upward when face up.

They should never be used for customer serviced parts- bad on them!

As a guy with a bicycle shed door covered with drilled slots & hooks for larger tools, I am envious of your organizer for small things.☺️

Those Muji clip-on springy pen holders are great for holding a specific pen or very light tool exactly where you want it on the wall or anywhere. ✒️✏️
