@beandev Bei der Tagesschau war es heute früh auch noch falsch, wurde aber relativ fix korrigiert. Der einleitende Satz hier klingt sehr sehr ähnliche. Evtl ist das die ursprüngliche Quellen, die aber wiederum nicht in den Genuss der Korrektur kam.
@Fischblog ich störe dich nur ungern am Sonntag, aber es soll heute Abend gegen Mitternacht einen großen Sonnensturm geben und die NASA sagt man kann bis Ohio Polarlichter sehen und die Britischen Behörden sprechen von Nordengland. Folks, usernames on #Signal aren’t your usual account handles aka your online identity. You don’t have to get stressed to get yours. They are meant to be changed and deleted, whenever it makes sense. They are optional too.
“Username” is probably a misleading name, since people rightfully think of typical username concepts. But here it’s just a “Wanna talk to me? Sure, find me at zzz.04, that’s my invite name I share here on this conference”. The UI isn’t even showing it after the chat started.
This is really cool. I saw so much change in the short few years I lived in Williamsburg. It's shocking enough how different it is from when I left in 2008. Look back at it in the late-'80s, and it's unrecognizable.

Ich mag ja @heiseonline und mein @ct_Magazin Abo. Aber die Aboverwaltung ist entweder aus der Steinzeit oder absichtlich mit dark patterns gebaut. Nirgendwo steht einfach mal übersichtlich wie lang die Kündigungsfrist ist usw. Alle modernen Abos und Verträge die ich sonst so habe listen das transparent auf.

I usually use #LinkedIn job listings to monitor the market around certain technologies. For some days now, it is barely useable anymore. The list of like 20 entries per page has about 10 promoted entries, which have NOTHING to do with my search. The only connection is a general match to my profile and that I’m apparently in the target group of those ads.
I learned one thing: If I’m going to do actual job hunt someday, I won’t use LinkedIn for it.
@chrisshaw I actively avoid posts, comments and all those general social-media parts over there. Too much fake and phony attention seeking. I agree, things are way more organic here.
What’s a good web hoster (service) for all-in-one website hosting? I’m looking for someone who wants 100% control of the process, without me in middle having to SSH on the server to change configs and so on. The software should be some sort of website generator.
Is WordPress still the way to go?
