Thinking about website views vs views on visual social media like YouTube, Insta and TikTok. It’s a hard and scary fact that people aren’t reading news but getting it via visuals. This is bad. At least in the short term, it will make us significantly less informed or more misinformed.

A guy from Minneapolis, who was allegedly traveling in Tasmania in April, supposedly caught several pictures of a #Thylacine on the side of the road. He contacted Forrest Galante who interviewed him and revealed the photos. #cryptid I'd bet he really saw a dog as they thought, but the story and images are embellished. https://youtu.be/bfSzlgRZ-Xg

This just doesn't look legit. The color is wrong, the two pics with the open mouth look wrong. We need more than questionable photos to make a determination that there are existing thylacines.

Conclusion: It's absolutely NOT photos of a live #thylacine. These look too close to models and other photos. They are not even consistent with each other. Galante was hoaxed.
