As somebody with music on both services, I can safely state that Tidal's royalties per Stream are at least 3-4 times higher than the ones from Spotify, when comparing streams from the same countrys.
Nobody questioned that. You'll need about 1000 streams of a 6 Track Album on Spotify to give the same Money to the artist as when you buy it from BC digitally. On Tidal, it's about 300. So there is a difference.

I was already about to complain that my Google Pixel phone won't let me convert these stupid m4a audio recording files to something more common... When I realized that the audio recorder app can create a video file from audio!
@thomas m4a is something common. It's standard MPEG2/4 and i don't know any device that can't decode it, because the Decoder is free.
Alternative is: use Audio Recorder from F-Droid, there you can specify codec (to Ogg, Opus or others) among other options:

Okay, I'm very confused. My Mastodon instance suddenly stopped functioning with my S3 storage. I cannot upload any photos anymore. The API keys are correct (I've even generated a new one) and the photos ARE actually uploaded to the S3 storage (I can see them on Scaleway's web interface) but I still get an error. Images from other servers also aren't displayed anymore. mastodon-sidekiq tells me "Error storing media attachment: Net::ReadTimeout with #<TCPSocket:(closed)>" but it stores them anyway?
I'm using Scaleway btw. Anyone have any ideas? It just suddenly started happening, I haven't changed anything and I'm very confused 😅

Eine Frage an die erfahrene #openstreetmap Community hier: Bei meinem Haus handelt es sich um eine Mischnutzung, im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine Logopädische Praxis, der Rest ist Wohnhaus. Wie trage ich das am sinnvollsten in #OSM ein?
EDIT: Lasst euch nicht von den 5 Jahren Gültigkeitsdauer irritieren, das gilt nur für die physische Karte, die nach Ablauf der Zeit automatisch erneut ausgestellt wird.

Der Plan für morgen steht. Die erste Etappe führt uns durch Westdeutschland über die Niederlande nach Belgien. Abfahrt "soll" um 7 Uhr sein (mal sehen ob wir das schaffen), Akkustand ist 80%, geplante Ankunft in Brügge ist 13:45 Uhr.
Am Nachmittag fahren wir dann weiter ins Nord-Pas-de-Calais, etwas südlich von Bergues, zu den Ch'ti.
Dort bleiben wir bis Sonntag, und dann geht's weiter nach England.

Wir reden also derzeit von ca 10-11€/Monat an Betriebskosten.
Je nach Wachstum der Instanz kann sich dies natürlich recht schnell nach oben ändern, noch haben wir aber genug Platz um stabil noch eine Weile so weiterzumachen bisher.
Ich habe von meinem Ex-Arbeitgeber noch eine Prepaid-Kreditkarte, auf der Guthaben ist. Die Karte kann man nur bei bestimmten Geschäften einsetzen, u. A. örtliche Tankstellen.
Ich habe noch 23,02 € drauf und habe es geschafft, auf den Cent genau zu tanken. Bei den Preisen nicht einfach, aber ging. Aber: Karte ging nicht. Also ne Woche später zu einer anderen Tanke, wieder geschafft, aber erneut: Karte geht nicht.

Versuch mal nur 23€ zu nutzen und nicht den genauen Betrag. Vielleicht gibt's da irgendeine Klausel, dass die Karte nicht komplett leer sein darf oder so.
