I'm struggling so much making any significant progress in #Sekiro. Regular enemies are more or less ok, but the moment you make me fight one of those bastards that require two deathblows, I'm done for.

Right now I'm fighting Enshin of Misen, and I'm getting absolutely ripped to pieces in mere seconds.

I don't know if I should persevere, continue with the game on a different path (maybe get away from Hirata Estate for now?) or what, because this feels absolutely impossible.

I tried getting into #Transistor, but I had a hard time engaging with the plot or the gameplay (probably because the kids kept distracting me).

I've started playing #ChainedEchoes instead, and I'm having a really fun time!

Looks like #VigilTheLongestNight, a quite nice #metroidvania, was delisted from multiple digital platforms (Steam, Epic Store, Nintendo eShop) without the publisher giving any reasons for it. I've checked and it is still available for me to redownload on Switch, but still, sounds like quite a messy affair.

And that's yet another reason why we should always strive for physical releases of games.

I've just finished #Unsighted and I'm in awe. It took me nine hours to finish it, and it is incredible how much you get to care about the characters.

Also, the gameplay is solid and the combat engaging. It's a very well done mix of #metroidvania, with new acquired abilities allowing you to access new areas or traverse others more efficiently, and Zelda, with multiple dungeons that include solving puzzles and finding keys.

Finished #ChronosBeforeTheAshes. That was an extremely punishing experience, wow.

More #DemonsSouls was played, more progress was made!

I finally cleared 4-2 and 4-3, and moved on to archstone 5. Managed to compete 5-1 and now I'm painfully progressing through 5-2, where I hope to unlock the shortcut soon.

So yeah, today was definitely a very productive day!!

Kids woke me up at 4:30am today again. Then of course I couldn't go back to sleep.

The bright side is that I had a few hours to play and I've used them to finish #ForgedInShadowTorch. Quite fun #metroidvania, absolutely gorgeous backgrounds, and a nice and rich combat. Exploration is ok, discovering new areas is a treat to the eye but, because of the way the map and the fast travel is laid out, backtracking feels sometimes a bit of a chore.

Still, a solid game really worth playing!

I'm a handful of hours into #DragonAgeInquisition and, for now, I think the move to semi-open world did hurt the game pacing quite a bit. I haven't progressed much, but most of my time has been moving through mostly empty terrain asking myself how the f*** can I get to the next little icon in the map that points to something to be done over there, with zero immersion in the overall plot.

#DragonAge2 finished! I've enjoyed the story a lot, and despite its flaws (I mean, the game only took a year and a half to be developed and it shows in several aspects) it's been a really fun experience. Also, when you approach the grand finale and Things Happen ™, I suddenly realised how invested I was in the characters, because all the hard choices suddenly mattered a lot!

Really looking forward to starting Inquisition 😀

We are really, really, really happy with our new place! The building is very well kept and managed, the unit is renovated and clean, the building is quiet, it's centrally located... what else could we need for a landing spot? :blob_cat_dance:

I did rely on the rewind feature of the SNES emulator? Most definitely. Still, I massively enjoyed my playthrough of #DonkeyKongCountry. I don't mind not having found all secrets either...

Anyone else here played Three Kingdoms: Fate of the Dragon back in the day?

It flew under the radar for many people because it sort of looked like a Age of Empires 2 clone, but I had the chance of playing it in depth because I had to write a review for it, and it was surprisingly good.
