What's currently the best used or refurbished laptop for GNU+Linux that I can buy? I'd prefer to be able to do some light gaming on it. I intend to take it with me to conferences abroad so battery life needs to be decent. #Linux #Gnu #opensource #Laptop #PCMR #PC

@slink Oh, I'd love a framework, but I don't have thousands of dollars to splurge on a laptop. I just need something cheap and reliable with an ISO keyboard layout.

They don't want homeless people concentrating, forming communities, and establishing themselves in one area, because that starts looking less like isolated "bums" and more like a capitalist refugee camp.

This is some serious cyberpunk dystopia shit, where poor people live below ground and the rich up high.

@yogthos I think I need to get into a hyperbaric chamber immediately because for some reason my blood started to boil while watching this video.

Oh, and a solution to the homeless problem? It's literally in the title. Housing first. Give people apartments to live in, then they won't be living in caves. Finland has this mostly figured out.

@nixCraft Firefox is the ONLY webbrowser that's still fundamentally developed with user Freedom and real privacy in mind. While that's true it behooves us to use it and support it the best way we can.
