I see it this way: the base modifier on fines should rise (automatically, codified) for each company by the amount how fast they made back the fines, and the maximum cap to match the top earner.

F.e.:
Google's base modifier should go up 312.86 times (365×24/(24+4)).
Maximum cap: Amazon made 55.85/h. So the cap should from this year be 489.246×10³ billion (yep, almost 500 trillion US unfunny-money).

Co do ostatniej „awarii” pol.social to tylko szybko nadmienię że u nas wszystko działało.

Problem polegał na tym że w OVH nie zadziałało automatyczne odnowienie usługi i trzeba było ręcznie co niezwłocznie zrobiliśmy. Niestety parę godzin trzeba było poczekać na aktualizację w .social :/

Postaramy się wziąć to pod uwagę przy kolejnym expire-time i przypilnować by więcej razy takiej „niespodzianki” nam nie zrobili.

Za kłopoty serdecznie przepraszam.

@pgronkievitz Co jest strasznie durne. Co jest mniej kosztowne? Trzy próby obciążenia, czy wywrócenie, a potem skasowanie klientowi serwera (nie pytajcie skąd wiem \𝕊)?

Jedynie co rozumiem, to to, że byłem świeżym klientem.

Tylko to prowadzi do drugiego kroku, wspomnianego „byłem”. Bo jak tylko będę mieć chwilę to opłacę zaległości i skasuję konto.

Czytam o niusie, że Elon chce wycofać X z Europy. Nie znalazłem nigdzie, na co portale się powołują, więc może być kaczka, ale przyjmijmy, że tak jest.

  1. UE pracuje nad wywaleniem X z EU po tym jak Elon zamknął dział odpowiedzialny za moderację antydyskryminacyjną i stał się portalem masowo szerzącym fejki.

  2. Threads od Facebooka nie zdecydował się do EU wejść.

  3. Przyjdą do fedi? Trochę osób pewnie tak, ale siewcy fejków i uprzedzeń raczej nie, bo nie ma tu algorytmu, który by ich "robotę" podbijał. Znajdą coś w stanach imo.

  4. Decyzja Elona może mieć podłoże czysto biznesowe. Z moich informacji wynika, że w EU słabo ludzie wykupują abonamenty X, a on zmienił model finansowania. "Nowi i darmowi" nie mają na X lekko teraz.

  5. Podział między EU a USA ze względu na różne rozumienie wolności słowa i prawa do prywatności robi się coraz wyraźniejszy. Ja wybieram ten model europejski.

What can I use to discard default routes on a client, which don't have access to the Internet?

Unfortunately Network Manager does this every time the lease is up (12h) and renews the dead-end route with a lower metric.
Now I'm trying if a higher, manually set metric would do the trick.
(I wanted to check if NM can do that, but Plasma decided to fatally crash.)

Generalnie Wrocław, który przez lata był jasnym miejscem aktywizmu w tym kraju, ma od dawna problem z chwaleniem się tymi działaniami. Nie po to, żeby wyłącznie pękać z dumy, ale żeby jeszcze bardziej inspirować inne osoby.

Oglądaliśmy i oglądałyśmy starem ulotki i plakaty, stare zdjęcia, gdzie wszyscy jeszcze byli młodzi i piękni, a dziś są już tylko piękni. A także stare filmy, bo mieliśmy tu też projekty dokumentacyjne. Ale zawsze w końcu gdzieś to ginie w odmętach internetu, spalonych serwerów i zwykłej niepamięci.

To jest dość smutne, ponieważ bez zachowania ciągłości pamięci ruchów społecznych, kolejne pokolenia próbują wyważać otwarte drzwi, zamiast uczyć się na sukcesach i błędach poprzedniczek. Dlatego podobno powstaje tutaj inicjatywa archiwizowania tych materiałów z przeszłości.

At some point I've searched for such, but you'd have to open them (basing on my MiBox 4k) to get to the debugging pins, and then trip widewine Digital Restrictions Management. Which would make a “smart” box/TV probably useless.

I've managed to go as far as installing NewPipe Sponsor Block trough F-Droid, after sideloading, trough FTP. And that only because there was a file manager app available for AndroidTV

BTW, folks who think the US standard plug is scary have clearly never encountered one of our range plugs before.

    Unless Google opens it up in revenge, then no, not totally unprotected. But they did set the rooting path to expand the attack surface needlessly.
    It's a consequence of locking up your device, so you can't control it to serve as a vehicle for ads, DRM, and data mining.

    Security 3rd, otherwise there would be no problems with patching.
