I was just blocked by a Jewish guy in Canada who said his biggest gripe living in Canada was a lack of coverage of anti-Semitism on a news network. I replied imagine what his biggest gripe would be living in Gaza. He didn't like this. His biggest gripe in Canada, a perceived lack of coverage on a news network of persecution seems rather meek in comparison. And I'm someone with some Ashkenazi heritage.

Biggest gripe? Really? Out of everything ever?

As a reminder, Israel has conscription. Most Israelis have served in the military, and in fact this artist seems to have served in my year, which was 24(!) years ago. Whether you think you're doing it or not, you're creating a social environment where it's justified to take actions against Jews as punishment for what's happening in another country.

I don't care if we're antizionist, non-zionist, post-zionust, zionist, Israeli expats, or whatever.

Stop helping to create the conditions where it is acceptable to isolate, target, or attack Jews.

Criticize the Israeli government all you want. That's a normal thing. But your dual loyalty and collective responsibility tropes are violently racializing Jews you fucking fake antiracist assholes.
