Did I mention how much I love Fuchsia Dunlop's "Every Grain of Rice"? I'm pretty sure I did, but I want to repeat it. By far my favorite cookbook at the moment. Such flavourful recipes, so easy to make (the subtitle of the book is "simple chinese home cooking") and I'm learning so much!

Today, I tried two new to me ingredients: tofu skin and fermented tofu making tofu bamboo with spring onion flavoured oil (yum!) and spinach with fermented tofu (yum! yum!).

If anyone is interested in using XSPEC models from Python (that is, they don't want to use PyXSpec but actually evaluate models directly) then please look at https://github.com/cxcsds/xspec-models-cxc

It's based on the work I (and others) have done on https://sherpa.readthedocs.io/ but is a separate package to better support the community. But it's currently experimental as it needs other people's inputs.

For the first time in a while we've been able to release CIAO with the latest patch release of XSPEC included. I may be the only person who cares (since as soon as the next XSPEC patch comes out this falls apart), but for today I celebrate. With cake.

• new contributed scripts, including yet-another-way-to-view X-ray astronomical data (energy_hue_map)

• Sherpa updates to improve your fitting and modelling needs

• updates to the Chandra processing code which you'll want with recently-observed ACIS data

• an updated ciao-install script for users not wanting to use conda directly
