@bru that’s exactly the way! You can host images anywhere and include them in weblog posts, but if you need a place to store them, some.pics is the way to go for now. (Eventually it’ll be a lot easier to do this though!)

@bru if you copy the Markdown provided on the pic page, it’ll be inline. If it winds up being too big on your page, you could wrap it in a <div> styled with a specific width (I can provide an example of this if needed, no problem!).

@adam Hey Adam, I realized that my page (based on Jane’s Minimal theme) looks broken since the last couple of days: https://eay.omg.lol What changes? Looks like the profile page and text doesn’t even get rendered in the HTML anymore. I last updated it in February, when everything looked fine and even if I restore it to a prior version it’s broken. Any ideas?

@eay oof, I’m so sorry about that! Looks like there was a weird little bug that was just introduced and that only affected that particular theme. Just fixed it!

@roeshimi @robb lol, yes, it’s all my fault. Eventually we’ll have a proper OAuth setup and not the thing I tossed together quickly a few years ago. 😄 But rest assured that this integration is purely for verifying that someone has an omg.lol address, and nothing else. 👍

@habibcham @robb It’s funny you mention that, because that’s exactly what I’m going for with omg.lol. No joke! Both the pricing and the name are meant to scream “this is for fun, don’t take it too seriously!” (And yet there are still some folks who expect five nines uptime and 24/7 support. 😂)

For the last few days I’ve thought that omg.lol is down, and I was surprised no one mentioned it. I was about to post about when I thought to ask Greg whether he can reach it - he can’t. But then he checked downforeveryoneorjustme.com and it turns out it’s down only for us. I’ve never experienced this before. Anyone know why this is happening? I have an account there I can’t reach. It’s so odd!

Gained 3 pounds back. Pretty upsetting, but I knew it would happen. Too
much bad food and DoorDash. So to start, I cancelled my
DoorDash premium renewal. Now that the weather is getting better, we can
get out of the house to get food if we want. I really hope to cook more
at home too.

Watching the Star Trek TNG episode “A Matter of Honor” with my wife and realized that the Klingon captain’s voice was familiar. “I’m pretty sure that was one of the Pakleds from that one episode.” My wife was skeptical. Looked it up, and sure enough, the Klingon Captain Kargon was also the Pakled Captain Grebnedlog in the episode “Samaritan Snare”. Both roles were performed by Christopher Collins, a prolific actor in the 80s and early 90s. He died in 1994, at just 44 years old. #startrek

@mcg Yeah! I mentioned them in my blog post as an inspiration. 😄 They’re perfect for attaching to something to preemptively discourage replies, and I think reply.cards is ideal for replying to stuff that you’ve already received, if that makes sense.
