@rameez Have they changed their opinions? They’ve apologized, yes. They’ve expressed lots of regret for the problematic post, sure. But where is the reassurance that they acknowledge trans people as people?

They’ve had unlimited opportunities to clarify their views but have only talked about their regret for what they said, and have offered nothing about the underlying beliefs.

And that’s fine. People can believe whatever they want. But some beliefs will never foster inclusion.

@mihobu @anniegreens In theory we can edit the source and recompile, but being a federated instance I try to respect all of the defaults (because you never know when local changes are going to break things downstream).

@beardedtechguy yep, that’ll do it! Since omg.lol is already hosting that image for you, there’s no need to put it somewhere else, and you can use it anywhere else if you’d like. You can also load other images into https://some.pics and use those image URLs, too. If you need any help with the actual image element / HTML end of things, you’re welcome to pop into Discord/IRC/Matrix/XMPP for some live chat help!
