Animal torture is really common trait in psychopathy.
The guy needs to be detained and evaluated whether he would get a prison sentence or sent to a psych ward. He, however, will probably just get 6-12mo without any evaluation and likely continue; just behind closed doors next time.
As someone with OCD but without ASD, I can understand a bit of this. But a helpful tip is not to bastardize something people are enjoying that you, yourself would have an issue with as a way to rationalize your dislike.
For instance… If you have an issue with a certain type of food, don’t make fun of it while people are eating it and they won’t feel attacked and respond in the like. (it’ll just become a tit-for-tat and devolve)
Instead of saying “Eww… I’m not eating mushrooms, they’re a fungus and they’re gross and they feed off rotten things.” Just give a bit of obfuscated truth and say something like, “No matter how many times I’ve tried, my mind just won’t let me do this or eat that.” No need to explain any further as many people can have issues with different things, so there’d be no need to give your diagnosis.

I imagine if the US wanted to, they could embargo it, and most if not all other nations would just see it as a parent putting a 6yo to the corner; not their job.
I’ve heard it explained that “hey” used to be more of an urgent way to get someone’s attention, rather than a casual “hello” like it is now, so it sounded rude to some older folks.
After 20-25 years, it’s more or less used for a spam pit and less important things now. No sense walking away from it when there’s no finances or other dangerous things attached
It’s exhausting because I spend a good portion of the day waiting for my mind to start working, and it’s pretty inefficient. I’m trying to figure out what this is all about, like is it temporary due to burnout, Strattera, or something else.
