I live in Nova Scotia, with my husband, border collie and three Cornish Rex cats. I seem to spend 90% of my waking time in the kitchen, cooking and the rest out walking my dog.
I do not post or comment on anything political.
I write stories and take pictures. They are on my blog mostly.

@ShaulaEvans @audiobooks I get mine from the library. And return them when finished. Does that work for authors?
I can't afford audible, though I belonged for a while and have some books from that time.

I love how I can schedule posts on Sengi as well as have multiple accounts and switch easily between them.

Most interesting feature: Spellchecker support!
Also the menu is now visible by default, but you can enable the autohide functionality in the View submenu.

Wondering about Proton Mail
After our conversations about #Notesnook with @Leisureguy and @nbcactus I watched an interview with one of the developers and started thinking about secure email.

I am wondering about how practical a switch it would be. We have domain emails and Gmail addresses, use Gmail interface.

I see it includes a VPN but my subscription to #nordVPN lasts another year.
Has anyone done the switch who is prepared to chime in with thoughts?

@mike @Leisureguy all good questions I don't know the answers to, but I believe mail sent from proton to non proton is encrypted. According to what I read. @NBCactus might know the answers.
I'm a bit sick of Google dependence. And the ads.

@feditips I can't find a way to remove an offensive comment from my own thread. Blocking the person just hides it from me. I am forced to delete the post which leaves all the comments floating around in the ether unattached. Doesn't seem right.
Am I missing something?

A baby weasel once paused long enough for me to get a photo of it. This was a few years ago now, but I still remember the thrill I got at seeing it. It disappeared quickly, hopefully finding its mother and siblings.
