Elon, desperate for approval from his “fans” personally changed this, because almost all the people left on twitter that engage with him are “right-wingers”. And they dont want to be held accountable for being vile garbage.
And so they, like the most fragile of snowflakes, started to whine about having to follow basic rules of human decency for once in their online existence, making them deeply uncomfortable.
And Elon followed suit, because these are the only people he has left now. People who exploit him for his position and clout, just as he exploits them for small ammounts of dopamine, when they applaud him for making the worls worse again.

Doktortitel, fette Gehälter und Amtswürden gehören nicht in die Hände von Menschenfeinden, vor allem nicht wenn die Polizei bei Demos immer wieder auf dem rechten Auge blind ist.
Wir haben als Gesellschaft nicht mehr die Zeit das langsam auszubügeln, zwischen Klimawandel, Krieg in Europa und Kapitalismus im Endstadium.
Nazis laufen einfach ein bisschen zu offen mit ihrem Abfall herum, die sie Ideologie nennen. Materielle Konsequenzen sind tatsächlich wirksam und sollten viel weitreichender sein, mehr als nur Job- und Imageverlust.
Aberkennung von Studienerfolgen und Diploma, Approbationsverlust, pauschale Anklagen wegen Eidbruch und Ähnliches würden mich sehr freuen.
Ich finde das nicht zu radikal im Licht der aktuellen politischen Lage.
Und die Konsequenzen sind bewusst systemisch, weil das Problem systemisch ist. Wir hatten schon lange ein Nazi-Problem, das jetzt wie ein verstopftes Klo hochkommt. Faschisten präsentieren sich ganz ungeniert und wir haben eine menschenfeindliche Partei in der Regierung.
Ich finde es angemessen dass wenn du Menschen tot sehen willst, du auf den Bodensatz der Gesellschaft verbannt wirst. Die Idee hinter meiner Forderung ist jede Position mit viel Einfluss (politisch, wirtschaftlich, universitär, etc.) für Rechte zu entziehen.
Ist das brachial? Ja natürlich
Aber das war alles vor “Remigration”, rechtsextremer Einstufung und einer sich zuspitzenden Gewaltspirale

For a time now I heard that the UK is a dying empire, desperatly clinging on to a version long gone and being stuck in the past.
In wake of recent anti-trans legislation, Brexit, migration-panics and general declining lifestile, I tend to agree with the statement. The UK is falling behind rapidly, but instead of combating that with progressive policy, the embrace of conservtaive ideas like this will just accelerate the decay.
I just hope Scotland and northern Ireland can get out before its too late.

Just in case, I assume this opion is brought forth in good faith.
While you could might be correct on paper, the reality is that between “Helping prevent Genocide” and “Anything else” is much clearer.
Does that make you a russian bot? I would say yes, it does. Because there is no middle ground here, no “enlightend centrist”, towering over us plebs who care for human lives not being devastet.
Maybe the Ukrain Goverment has a problem with corruption, hell I agree it probably does. Every Government has to deal with this.
What not every Goverment has is an active Genocide waged against its people.
Having corruption does not excuse to allow Genocide. And stading idly by is doing just that!
