The elderly lady who is visiting the hospital next week for #chemotherapy treatment has now had a #FREE #gas #water #heater installed by our subcontractors.

This was totally free of any cost, with no charge under any circumstances to her, we now know that when she returns home after every treatment, she will have running hot water without the worry of covering the cost, or borrowing.

She is a lovely lady who deserves a break, her next door, #neighbour, called us and asked if we could help.

We are very proud to announce that we are now working alongside British Gas

We will be working closely to deliver life changing and life-saving support to the #elderly, #vulnerable and #disabled members of our #communities, and those who are unfortunately living with terminal illness.
British Gas have already and immediately allocated 5 full combination boiler installations for our service users, totally #free of any charges.

This lady is fighting #cancer, her #boiler stopped working, it was totally knackered.
She asked British Gas for a quote, they said just over £6,000 in total.

We attended and installed a #free boiler, taking away the worry of borrowing for a boiler.

We are supporting them this week with the supply and installation of a new #electrical catering #water #heater.

This will be totally #free, and it will help them to provide a more comfortable service for their many users and #volunteers/#staff.

On Thursday we visited an elderly & very vulnerable lady!
Her boiler had stopped working, she had no heating or hot water for days, she was very worried.

Yesterday the Community Plumbing & Heating Support - CPH CIC installers fitted a #FREE #boiler for her, this will ensure that she stays warm and safe, it will also give peace of mind to her family.

The boiler was supplied by CPH CIC, we are not government or council supported, all work, materials, boilers, parts are raised through paid work

A elderly couple, unfortunately the lady is palliative care. Their boiler keeps breaking down, and it is a landlord's property.

The landlord can not be contacted, lost details, and number. However, we will continue to support them regardless of their heating system, we can will not ignore them just because it is a rented property.

Unconditional support, regardless of cost, it will be FREE without question.

As my friends know, Leon is going to get worse as he gets older.
Our biggest issue is that he desperately wants/needs independence. He was referred for an electric wheelchair in December, maybe sooner I’m not sure on dates, but the wait list is 3 years. A child with a muscle wasting condition doesn’t really have that long, especially Leon, when he is struggling so so so much. I have been so stressed out, and then our guardian, Angel James Anderson, met us and told us he’s covering Leon’s chair.

This wonderful gentleman was quoted over £5,000 for a new boiler installation.
He called Community Plumbing & Heating Support - CPH CIC ( D.E.P.H.E.R ) for a second opinion.
After we assessed his situation and his partners situation we decided to do a #FREE boiler installation for him, his partener was in a care home, being cared for as he was very ill, he had very little left after paying towards the care.

He said to me
" Is it OK if I have a husband "
He thought that we would say no.

An emergency call from the Ambulance service to CPH CIC Community Plumbing & Heating Support - CPH CIC

An elderly gentleman aged 75 in need of support, we have visited him today and fixed his boiler, he now has heating and hot water.
After assessing him and his vulnerability, we have allocated him

A new toilet installation
A bathroom deep clean
New flooring

These will be totally free, and the installation will commence asap

A lady who has breast and lung #cancer, has now had a FREE combination conversation completed by CPH CIC ( D.E.P.H.E.R )
She was looking at borrowing around £3,000 to have a new boiler installed, after her Back boiler was condemned.

#Heating and hot water is very important and essential, especially when you are terminal.
A debt while fighting such a terrible situation, would not help her at all, it would be a weight that she could do without 😢

If you cover your ventilation and you have a back boiler behind your gas fire.
You not only keep warmer if you cover the vent, but you also risk long-term sleep !!!

DO NOT cover ventilation! It could kill you.
Always get your boiler serviced by a @GasSafeRegister engineer.

We will never stop raising awareness that saves lives. This wasn't recent, but it is very much a reality.

This water pipe was used for gas, in a family home, above the kitchen, below the child's bedroom.

If it had not been found, it could have exploded and caused serious injury or death.
