Sometime I think of cross posting to twitter. I miss "friends" (more like acquaintance at best) and communities that never left.

So far I have resisted because I know the value I bring to platforms and I will not share it in places that do not further the world I want to see.

I often have to kind of laugh at the fact that I am living proof you can’t indoctrinate gender or sexuality. I was raised in an extremely religious environment. Went to church every Sunday. Bible study every Wednesday. Went to Christian schools from 1st-10th grade. Vacation Bible school. My adopted father was in Promise Keeper’s. Consumed Focus on The Family content. I wasn’t allowed to listen to secular music. Deep in purity culture. All of it.

Still came out gay, atheist, and trans lol

I wonder if AI is going to replace those call centres of scammers. It would be a bit worrying if you could use AI to develop a solid social engineering scam and just roll it out ad infinitum.

I wonder if the long-term plan for this Windows Recall is just to generate vast amounts of human created data to train AI off of.

Microsoft would have a constant stream of fresh, up-to-the-minute data in insanely vast quantities. Not only that, but it would be exclusive data, giving them an edge in the AI race.
