It’s actually a copy of the original room, and there are invisible goblins synchronising all objects in the rooms so that it looks like the same room. They are also moving mannequins so that they match the movements of all the people in the other rooms.

To us it looks and feels like the same room with the same objecs and same people, so it doesn’t really matter.

But sometimes an admin might order that the goblins must not sync one specific room anymore. Then you start to notice differences depending on which door (=room) you actually use.

Just so that nobody gets confused, it gets constantly synced, not just at the end of the day. That’s just an unfortunate use of a common saying in this case. :)

• Delete comments that haven’t been visible anymore but now are again (because I deleted newer comments, now the older ones starting to appear again)

Synology NAS (with SynoCommunity) + Transmission + Sonarr/Radarr/Prowlarr/etc + Kodi

It’s amazing, the new episodes or movies just show up right there in the media center, with correct metadata, ready to be watched.

I only watch on one device (Nvidia Shield Pro) directly and do not need streaming over the net. Because of this I have also not looked into Jellyfin much either.

Overall I got to know Kodi first and like the customization and add-ons etc. I have my library/metadata set up that way and am too lazy to check the others out and maybe switch (don’t fix a running system, right? xD)

I don’t know overseerr yet, sounds like it might be useful for my gf 🤔 Also never heard of unpacker, gotta check out the advantages of that.

I only recently finally got into docker and it’s amazing. Good thing I spent the extra bucks for the NAS that supports it back when I bought it some years ago. Maybe I’ll switch Sonarr/Readarr/Readarr and Prowlarr to docker too, so that I can manage everything the same way.

I was so close to going legal and signing up for Netflix, and then all the other platforms started to pop up and the content got split over all those. I just want one platform for all my favourite shows and movies. It should be shared like with Spotify/Google-/Apple-/YouTube-Music, not the exclusive chaos that it is now.

I use DuckDNS and Wireguard, was pretty easy/quick to setup. Don’t forget to forward the relevant VPN ports on your router/modem.

They defederated because certain hentai stuff from there violates local CP law, here is the post.

Maybe the authorities got to them anyway, or maybe they just were too freaked out.

The donation links also go to closed accounts, so this really seems like a deliberate action.

You can also patch Reddit is Fun and other 3rd party apps with ReVanced. But it’s not really worth it, Reddit still has too many bots and reposts, ReVanced can’t fix that. Also sooner than later this method won’t work either anymore.

Can confirm, was removed from /r/StarWarsDadJokes together with the other mods that way. I regret nothing, I’m not going back anyway.

It’s funny that that sub is now completely inaccessible due to being unmoderated. So… Mission Accomplished? xD

I love cute cat posts, but I hate a comment section full of “cat” comments and nothing more (or even worse, downvotes on non-cat comments).

It might have been funny the very first time, but now it’s more like bullying. Yes, there might not be much to discuss on simple cat pics, but then you might as well just cut it completely. And if there actually is some validity for a comment (e.g. medical input, or just a genuine compliment, etc), it should not be downvoted just because it doesn’t follow the “meme”.

I only know him from the TeamTrees and TeamSeas projects. Using his huge viewer base to promote projects like this is one of the best possible things an influencer can do IMO.
