A walk is always improved by knowing that there is a cat that will be waiting for you to pass by.
This pretty thing sits in her drive (sometimes under the back of the car if it's parked there) waiting for me (?) to pass by on my way home from my walk. She never moves towards me, nor did she back away as I approached her with my camera.

The young roofers were amazing to watch. So strong and balanced. They would climb a ladder holding a batch of shingles 50lbs+ on their shoulders without holding on to the ladder rails. All done in 8hrs.
This was part of my flower a day project, taken with a #Helios442 lens, manual settings and focus. This #vintageLens gives a distinctive look and feel to the images that I really like for flower photography.

Over the Labor Day weekend My wife and I visited our favorite camping getaway - Beaver Island Retreat located on Beaver Island in Lake Michigan. I took over 1500 photos and I'll be processing them for ages 😄.
To be fair, many of them are variations and will be deleted...but I'll probably still have a few hundred left over.
So, wieder voll aus dem Urlaub in #Italien zurück. Jetzt gilt es erstmal die ganzen #52WochenFotoChallenge nachzuholen. Habe Fotos zu den Mottos gemacht, konnte sie aber nicht bearbeiten und hochladen.
Wir kamen direkt passend zur Sternschnuppennacht der #Perseiden in unserer Wohnung in den Weinbergen an und hatten einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Sterne. DIE Gelegenheit für mich mit @philsupertramp meine Astro-Linse und Intervallaufnahme auszuprobieren.
