Can anyone recommend the #Tandem app for #language practice?
I'm at intermediate level with #Spanish. Reading comprehension & speaking are ok, but I'm struggling when listening to others - it's like my ear/brain is not primed for it outside of certain scenarios, e.g. at the shops.
I tried an online intercambio yesterday but it was a bit too advanced for me & most of the others I can find on meetup.com where the times work for me are either beginner or advanced.

How far can I increase the A2C / overall crown height without wrecking handling? I've been pondering a cycletruck-like fixed front cargo rack, that might mount to some bracket that sits around the head tube, incorporates new bearing cups. The 1.75 tire has me going 😬

Nous allons consulter une Docteure spécialiste de la rétine. Les différents examens montrent une cataracte et plus sérieux encore des néo-vaisseaux ( ou maladie de Fuchs ) au niveau de la rétine des deux yeux, le gauche étant plus atteint.
Le cas est sérieux. Tu devras subir des injections intra-vitréennes de Lucentis et des opérations.
Tu es en pleurs. Tu as l'impression que le monde s'écroule sous tes pieds.
Tu ne peux plus peindre. Adieu les virées en vélo nous deux. Tu as honte. Tu ne veux pas qu'on s'aperçoive de ton handicap.

On prendra tous les deux des bâtons de marche nordique. Ainsi tu pourras rattraper un faux pas.

My son and I have committed to #Ragbrai next year, and are planning to go by tandem. However I do not currently own a tandem, and am not sure how to best fit one for a 6’1” captain (34” inseam) and a 5’1” stoker (27” inseam).
What sort of frame size should I be looking for, and what recommendations do you have for a good used budget ($400-600 USD) tandem?
My mother, Jane Kamvar died peacefully in her sleep this week. She had raised my brother and I by herself since the 90s while working full time as a diagnostic programmer for #Tandem computers. She was always a person who gave so much of herself and asked nothing in return. She never took shit from anyone and knew exactly what she wanted from life: books, chocolate, and cats.
