It was red rock country, all right, but not limited to that. The surface of the rocks and cliffs caught light, absorbed shadows, in such a way that an array of colors set forth before the viewer.
And they didn't just stay that way. As the light shifted and changed, so did the colors of the canyon.
Nature refuses to be circumscribed and classified.
There, we poured some of the #Pilot#red#fountainPen#ink into a rather imperfect bottle I recently cast from an #epoxy#resin I was not fond of and wished to use up. Now I shall try this ink to see if I prefer it to Noodler's "Cayenne". Pilot makes excellent black and blue-black inks, after all, so maybe the red is very good, too.
