As part of my preparation, I’ve started recording some #Warzone gameplay and creating clips from it.
I’m also using #Notion to create a database of these clips with various tags so I can quickly refer to particular clips I want to use e.g. Single Kills, Double Kills, Good Centring, Bad Centring, which type of gun I’m using, etc. That way if I want to focus on a particular part of my game, I have lots of examples to use.
Wo legt ihr denn eigentlich Bookmarks ab? Ich hab - wie immer - verschiedenes ausprobiert. Zuletzt #Notion. Aber irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, damit mit Kanonen auf Spatzen zu schießen.
#Obsidian is great for my own notes, while as usual what you put in is what you get out of it.
#Notion (as a strong "second brain" contender otherwise) looks good especially on the sharing (important) and practical usability front, though how much I wanna pay for it. Easy with less technical users too.
Not sure if there are any spots left, but Microsoft Loop for #iOS is very accessible. I think there are a few issues that can be worked out in beta, but it is really nice, and a good replacement for #Notion
@danarel I’ve tried almost all of the note-taking options and I finally found Notion and have stuck with it for 3 years now, and even pay Fabio a little every month. I love that my data is my data, and I’m not beholden to a company’s changing the cost or rules on me. I especially hate not being able to export my own data quickly and cleanly - ugh. I’ll also say that I’m not a programmer and I’m definitely not using all of Notion’s bells and whistles, but I don’t need to (I’m slowly learning new tricks every time I visit the Discord server for Notion though).
I put EVERYTHING in there and only having one place for everything makes it easier for me to find and organize. my classes, house stuff, research, teaching, hobbies, books I’ve read, and lots, lots more. I love #Notion
Game Devlog 01 - Yesterday I restarted my #GameDevelopment project. I liked where things were headed before I took a break, but I think a reset will help me focus. Using #Notion, I’m writing out deliverables and tasks and I’m about 20% done preparing for development on the first minor version. It feels a little tedious and I may scale back in the future, but I want to see if the structure will help with this first minor version. #GodotEngine#IndieGameDev
Game Devlog 03 - Yesterday evening and today I spent a total of 2.5 hours developing off the projects and tasks I wrote up in #Notion. With only a couple unexpected changes/additions, I've felt free to problem solve towards more specific goals without looking too far ahead. 7 tasks complete. #GameDev#GameDevelopment#GodotEngine#Godot#IndieDev#IndieGame
[Template] Tracker for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (totk-tracker.notion.site)
I made this tracker a while back. It's not complete (koroks...), but it's something.

Hi folks,...
Wikis feel too static after using Notion
